Do you have your own cola?

My baby does!
I opened up the drink kooler at our volunteer project and found Cricket Cola!
It's green tea cola, but it's good, tastes like R.C. I'm worried that people won't like it and it'll go out of business before she's old enough to drink it. :)
For all those who think her name is too weird, last I checked, there's no Caitlyn Cola or Kirsten Kola, so there!

Very cool. Us people with weird names were very devoid of those things growing up. But, I turned out semi-ok despite having a fairly strange name. Names, come to think of it. But, the cool thing about my name is, I only have one other Preston in the circle of friends and family (my uncle). So, typically most people don't have to say : "Which Preston". You have at least aleviated that burden from your daughter.

Where did you guys work today, BTW? I got there way late because I had to go in to work today. Work + Baby-J = Interesting adventures in electronics land; I was prepared in my office with a PEZ dispenser though. Despite showing up late, I did get to deliver a couple of turkeys to some people, and explain to a couple of incredulous kids why in the world we would give away food. It was kind of cool, the dad was thinking he might come to Westgate tomorrow. We'll see I guess.

I think Cricket is a delightful name, but I bet various people will ask what her "real" name is from time-to-time. My oldest is known by a nickname unrelated to a traditional name, and that happens to us.

oh well...you obviously can not please everyone with your child's name. as long as you're happy with it and she's happy with it, then other people's opinions are MOOT!
