...because it's cheez time!
I've compiled a list of baby songs that if mixed tapes were still in vogue, I would make a baby Thayer mix tape.
Daughters- John Mayer
Danny's Song- Kenny Loggins(I know it's about a boy, who cares)
Isn't She Lovely- Stevie Wonder
Arms Wide Open- Creed (yeah I know, Creed sucks, just go with it)
Tupelo Honey- Van Morrison
And these soundbites keep running through my mind:
Raising Arizona
Planes Trains and Automobiles
(sorry, that site doesn't like linking to their wav.'s so you just gotta click the quote called "Short")
Happy 18th Birthday, Alayna!

p.s. I have no idea why I have the huge gap on my posts. Very weird.
i wondered about the gap thing too...interesting that it only happens on my work computer & not at home...hmmm...
WHO is the person covering "isn't she lovely?"? interesting. also, there is a song by javelin boot called "jiffy" that was written for the singer's son. it's awesome! i will try to email you a copy sometime! :)
That would be Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. I love them. All the do is cover songs, and I swear once you've heard their version, the original is never good enough. :)
Who said mix tapes weren't cool anymore??? I'd like to have a word with that person...
Good baby mix.
I like "Tupelo Honey" for a girl's name (Aurora??) Charlie, are you have a girl? I think you are.....
Auntie Sandi
I considered that actually. But yeah, Aurora's gonna use Tupelo as the middle name for a girl.
We have an excellent name that sort of has the same feel picked out for our bun.
Just call it an iPod mix and you'll be cool again.
;c)
I can't put my aaaaaaaaaaarms down!!!
Sorry, I say that in my head every time someone mentions Raising Arizona.
Just thought I'd share.
isn't the arms thing from a christmas story?
Possibly.
