long wait

Here's what the wall looked like before



this is what the church mural looked like when I (we) finished.

It's about 8 x 8 ft....I think.



You can kinda see it, like where it is in the church in this photo. Up in the front on the left side of the choir.

That is so beautiful wow I bet everyone oooh'd and awe'ed at these angels from heaven with paint and brushes.

Awesome job! Nothing like paintin' for Jesus. If I was one of those kids that helped, I'd be so excited each time I went to church to see if all over again :)

The verse says:
Matye 11:28

Vini jwenn mwen, nou tout ki bouke, nou tout ki anba chay, m'a soulaje nou.

Which in English is:
Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.

I left space at the end for a verse and then when one of the church leaders walked in, I asked him to choose a verse.

He asked what the painting meant. And I told him I was representing all the people (that I came across) in the village that have problems that they have handed over to Christ and in turn they have joy (illustrated in the doves and flowers.)
So he picked Matthew 11:28.
