Our friend that works at Apple who's facilitating an employee discount tried to convince Kevin to buy me an iPod too, but the ol' boy wouldn't take the bait.

Good call! I love our powerbook with an unholy passion.
Right now, we're saving up to upgrade when Leopard comes out and also get a new battery (ours doesn't even hold a charge for an hour any more!).
So, a word of advice: avoid overcharging the battery (ie: leaving the laptop plugged in all the time). Although, in its defense, it took us three years to get to this point with the battery, so...

We have had a PowerBook G4 for about 2 years now. I like it, although I would like it more if Jeremy would install software so that I can use it for work - like Word maybe. Sheesh.
You know I love mine! Which kind are you getting? Powerbook or PowerBookPro? are you gonna go RED?
