trying to merge into pop culture

My two year contract is up with my cell phone people.
So that means I can get a new phone and carry on paying them about 50 bucks a month.

Or I could do alot of other things.

The outside world would have me believe that everyone has the shiniest new phone and uses it to watch the latest episode of Grey's Anatomy, while GPS navigating them around Nob Hill, while they film themselves ordering a latte with said phone.

I even bothered an online sales rep (Shanitha!) to blather on about how unsure about what I was going to do.

I just text message and occasionally use the phone to talk to people.
I think we all know that I don't even need the voice mail.

If I did have video capability, I would take video, so that I could blog it, of course.
And if I had some GPS thing, I might just use it.

But I certainly don't have anyone to impress,
in fact,
my phone is best kept hidden from little gooey hands that might want to slobber on it.

The old man and I will have to conference about it. This is the dumbest problem I've had in a long time.

Brandon and I just signed up for new phone service with Credo — it's the same price as the big guys, it uses the Sprint network and best of all they donate 1% of our bill to charity!

either just get rid of the phone (cheap and liberating) or get a good one that you can enjoy...that is what i say. Don't hang in the middle. What fun is that?

so, did you get a new one? what's the status? I just broke mine and I'm at a crossroads too.
