My first Mother's Day and you'd think I'd have more photos. I do have flowers and chocolate, and that's what matters. :)
I let her indulge her curiousities in pretty much anything that isn't infested or sharp. The tupperware, the books in the bookcase, dogfood box, and in this case, my ribbon stockpile.
Happy 18th Birthday, Alayna!

She sure is cute!
It's good to see her smile more these days...
A word from the wise since you mentioned the dog food box: Dog food won't kill your kids if they eat it. I think our firstborn eat at least a quarter cup a week for about a month or so before he tired of crawling into the kitchen (He still plays with the water from time to time though. Grrr.) We have Tarla's food in the kitchen underneath the breakfast bar so she can eat with us. I guess Chihuahuas are social eaters and don't like to eat by themselves, but we had to move it because she kept moving mouthfulls of food into the living room while we were sitting around because she didn't like eating while she couldn't see us... Dogs are nuts. Anyhow the way it's situated prevents us from seeing it when we cook.
All this to say Dog food won't kill Baby-C if she gets into it, though it may give her a bit of a laxative effect for a few hours...
