Malachi- It's cool name, but eventually I realized, it's a little, as I like to say "tree-in-the-wind." Too deep, too many syllables.

We considered (and haven't quashed I suppose) this name for baby-M, but we always came back to the fact of my best friend pronouncing the name "mal-atch-ee". Apparently people in Colorado and the midwest care not for pronunciations with their "yella's and joo-wan's" "Joo-Wan" is a particularly annoying mispronunciation from my grandma, who insists on mispronouncing mexican names, despite the fact her sister's name was Juanita.
