colic sounds like a phlegmy word

Cricket cries alot, but I thought all babies cried a lot.
And then I talked to other people who had babies.
They don't cry this much.

So we looked up colic online.

And yes, she fits the description.

Everyone tells me it'll be over soon.
I think they're lying.

oh gracious!
carrot juice, hmmm.
I'll have to wait until she can drink something other than milk, right?

honestly i'm not sure...maybe they didn't have these "restrictions" in the 70s. i'll ask my mom and let you know, but you may want to ask your doctor just in case she CAN, because if they say yes, you may be on your way to miracle juice!

okay charlie... matthew your cuz was mildly colic and that was bad enough.. my neighbor across the street told me her daughter cried constantly and she said matthew was mildly as she observed.. oh hon you won't believe what we did in the 70's aside from driving 24-7 to puttin him an old fashion today swing that you hand cracked and made enough noise to wake the dead, all i did was nurse him 45 mins each boob til the pacifier and then told peditrician in tears as we were soooo exhausted.. george would walkthe floor all night with matthew so i could sleep.. then he had to go to work like by 6:00 a.m. ugh.. we gave matthew seda drops well guess what it was like narcotics and it said like 7 drops with the dropper in a bottle.. hello we would at least count to 10 drops..he did live but ask the peditrician what they recommend, cuz ones sanity is on the line.. i knew from what you have been sayin that she was colic but to what degree i had no idea.. i couldn't take matthew anywhere cuz he cried all the time.. i remember on buckhorn dr. hearing the words from dr. spock and such let em cry and listened to my baby cry over 3 hours while we sat on the deck waiting for him to stop.. he never did.. we brought him to bed with us.. jan , geo's sis was a social worker supervisor at the time and she brought all her boys all 4 into the bed.. we did with matthew and it was relief..listen to what your gut says about it..i thought i'd never have a normal life again..and just cried..the colic can last at least 9 months sop do whatever it takes.. plus matthew started teething at 3 month along wioth ear infection and man alive he didn't cut a tooth til he was 7 months so she may have tough gums to boot.. let me know if i can help with this in any way.. been there done that.. love to you all great auntie anne..

I don't think it's colic for what it's worth. Pretty much anytime she's angry, we can walk outside and she'll be happy. So it's a mental thing.

unless colic is just slang for 'onrey', in which case i'll buy that.
